Abstract Scope |
Magnesium is one of the most critical strategic metals in the 21st century. Our team has carried out decades of research and is committed to technological breakthroughs in the production of magnesium by carbothermal reduction, the purification of crude magnesium, and the preparation of high-purity magnesium. Due to the vacuum condition significantly reduces the reaction temperature and energy consumption of carbothermal reduction MgO process, and the bottleneck problem of Mg and CO separation in the condensation process was solved, liquid magnesium condensate can be collected safely; A new technology of crude magnesium refining under CO2-Ar atmosphere was proposed, obtaining 3N5 pure magnesium without SF6 conditions; A new method of vacuum distillation-vapor purification-directional condensation for preparation of high-purity magnesium has been proposed, which realizes the effective separation of Mg from a variety of trace impurities, and high-purity Magnesium with a purity more than 5N was obtained. |
