Abstract Scope |
Ag2Se is a prominent TE material characterized by a narrow band gap n-type semiconductor with high ion mobility and ultra-low lattice thermal conductivity. In this study, Ag2Se with dilute doping has excellent TE performance. It performs n-type transport properties and a high average zT over 0.8 in the temperature range of 300 K to 390 K. Additionally, we conducted a comprehensive study on the homogeneity, reproducibility, and thermal stability of bulk Ag2Se prepared using the furnace cooling method. This approach holds great potential for large-scale production and offers an efficient means of synthesizing Ag2Se. |
