Abstract Scope |
Traditional manufacturing lines using ultra-thin sheets of electrical materials in manufacturing motor and transformer of mechanical devices and vehicles are faced with many issues related to "breaking time" and low performance.
This is because when a raw material coil is "run empty," a new coil will be replaced in traditional lines. This period takes about one hour and wastes a lot of raw materials to prevent defective products. These leading causes of trouble include low productivity, low efficiency, high waste of time. Primarily it makes dis-continues lines, which are inappropriate in the 4.0 industry revolution. In order to overcome this, a new joining system was developed. Using this system can form non-stop manufacturing lines with high performance and waste raw materials. This was verified at the Denso corporation factory, in which the lines for manufacturing the motor and transformer were applied. This presentation is purposed to introduce a novel welding system, discuss its novelty points, and explore the understanding of a new era for the 4.0 industry. |
