Abstract Scope |
The uneven cleaning thickness is easy to be formed in the laser cleaning for curved surface, which has great influence on the cleaning quality. To improve the homogeneity of the cleaning layer, the path planning for curved surface cleaning is proposed in this paper based on tangent plane method. The distance between tangent planes is determined by laser overlap rate during the cleaning process to obtain the desired cleaning path. The interpolation point on the desired cleaning path is calculated by the defocus range of effective laser cleaning to get the control point. The practical cleaning path is from control points connection. The motion attitude of the laser head is determined by the normal vector direction of the control points to make sure that the axis of the laser beam is always perpendicular to the cleaning surface. The simulated results show that the path planning combined with the variable attitude adaptation of the laser head can obtain cleaning results with the same lap rate, and cleaning layer outcome has uniform thickness and high quality. |
