Abstract Scope |
High performance Al-air batteries are attractive to replace Li-ion batteries with reducing cost and enhanced safety. The solid-state batteries possess potential for numerous applications. In this work, we developed 3D nanostructured Al anodes using femtosecond laser processing and printable solid state electrolyte. Our study displayed that femtosecond laser processing enhance the electrochemical surface area and anti-corrosion by improving the Zn/Mg composition in Al alloys. Gel-based electrolyte enables printable packaging of flexible batteries. We displayed large area printed battery arrays for large current and voltage applications. |
