Abstract Scope |
The oxide activities in CaSiO3 wollastonite were obtained by the Knudsen effusion mass spectrometric method in the temperature range 1751-2087 K. The mixing energy, as well as the enthalpy and entropy of wollastonite formation from individual oxides, equal to -38.92±0.52 kJ/mol and 2.33±0.29 J/(mol×K), respectively, and the enthalpy of wollastonite melting at 1818±7 K, equal to 27.64±0.57 kJ/mol, were calculated. |
