Abstract Scope |
Heating microscopy is an advanced tool for the optimizations of sintering, and solder brazing processes, and for the investigation of melting and wetting behavior, etc. In this paper, we will present a new heating microscopy technique at high temperature up to 1600oC under high purity and vacuum conditions. The active brazing of ceramics and metals, melting and wetting behavior in high purity atmospheres, and sintering of ceramic tapes and multilayers, co-sintering of metal-ceramics bi- and multi-layers have been studied with the new heating microscope. The results will be displayed and discussed. |
