Abstract Scope |
Welding is part of any structural engineering component. When it comes to high entropy alloys, welding is still in its infacy. Where we will shown of the selection of the filler metal during gas metal arc welding of high entropy alloys can drastically influence the microstructure, phase composition and mechanical response of the welded joints.
By combining advanced microstructure characterization, thermodynamic modelling and mechanical property assessment it is possible to tune the mechanical performance of the joints depending on the targeted application. |
