Presentation Title Optimization of Coating Property of Zinc-aluminium Flake Coated Bolt for Construction Equipment

Abstract Scope zinc-aluminium flake coating is widely used for many kinds of industry to protect Fe-based material against oxidation from environment. zinc and aluminium flake coating layer shows silver color but black color is also required by purchaser due to aesthetic purpose. However, corrosion resistance of coating layer may be varied by a lot of manufacturing and coating variables. in this study, we are conducted short term test(electro-chemical test) and long term test(salt spray test) for zinc-aluminium flake coated bolt to figure out the best coating variables. and additional tests such as adhesion and friction test for coating layer are also carried out to check usability. based on the results, we can find optimum coating condition of zinc-aluminium coated bolt for construction equipment.
