Abstract Scope |
The development of wearable health monitoring system requires the identification of piezoresistive material capable of detecting very small mechanical strains. In previous research, we found that the Cr2Ge2Te6 (CrGT) thin films showed large resistance changes during elongation, by the appearance of cracks during tensile testing. Additionally, it has been confirmed that the contents of Cr in CrGT thin films have great impact on electrical properties by the Cr nano-level clusters. In this research, we investigated the influence of chromium (Cr) content on resistance changes as a function of strain in CrGT thin film. We prepared many kinds of CrGT thin films with different contents of Cr and measured both the mechanical and electrical properties of these thin films. In addition, CrGT thin film was tried to be applied to pressure sensor. |
