| Abstract Scope |
Aqueous zinc-ion batteries have recently gained more attention due to their high safety and moderate capacity. This study proposes a Zn–Ag anode material via heat-treatment processing, aimed at enhancing the performance of aqueous zinc-ion batteries. The design strategy was guided by phase diagram methods to achieve controlled microstructure and phase distribution. It significantly improves the Zn-Ag anode’s structural stability and electrical conductivity. Electrochemical results demonstrate that the Zn–Ag composite anode exhibits outstanding cycling stability, effectively suppressing dendrite growth. This work highlights the critical role of phase diagram–assisted alloy design and underscores the synergistic effect of melting and heat treatment in enhancing anode performance, offering a clear pathway for the future development of zinc-ion battery materials and manufacturing processes. |
