Abstract Scope The Criteria for Accrediting Engineering Programs and the Accreditation Policy and Procedure Manual (APPM) are the governing documents for accrediting engineering programs. These documents are revised annually with input from the many stakeholders, including technical societies, ABET volunteers, and institutions. This presentation will address the processes by which these documents are revised, recent changes to them, and some potential upcoming changes. Questions and discussion on how changes to the Criteria and APPM affect program reviews is encouraged.
