| Abstract Scope |
Day by day, Information and Communication Technologies contribute to the development of a country, but it also implies an evident increase of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). One of the materials that are not handled, treated and even less controlled correctly within this large group is ABS. A polymer that, in the absence of technical information on its treatment and recovery, has come to generate an environmental problem of great magnitude because they are discarded for lack of interest. Under the need to find an application scope that provides information
and basis on the correct treatment for the recovery of ABS, this project has the objective of generating a suitable process for the production of ABS pellets, starting from the selection, characterization and processing by means of a forming process, where a temperature range is analyzed to obtain the best properties |
