Abstract Scope |
Co-crystals comprised of C60 fullerene and electron-donor molecules (such as porphyrins or phthalocyanines) offer promise for functional applications, e.g. as related to light-harvesting technology and opto-electronic devices. When significant porosity is present, fine-tuning by host-guest interactions can extend the range of properties. We employ data mining techniques to search for suitable candidates, followed up with analysis of pore topology. Using this approach, we have identified more than 900 candidates for further analysis. Selected examples will be discussed in detail. |
