||Influence of the Strain Dependent Material Behavior under Plane Strain on the Yield Locus Modelling

Basis for the numerical modelling is an excellent knowledge of the used material. Due to the low formability under plane strain, the characterization of this strain state should be intensified. Conventionally, the characterization is done by notched or cruciform tensile tests. The evaluation of both test is limited to a low plastic strain. The aim in this investigation is the analysis of the resulting material behavior under plane strain of commonly used alloys with respect to the material anisotropy up to fracture. Therefore, hydraulic bulge tests with a plane strain load path are performed in rolling direction and transversal direction for the materials AA51282, DC06 and DP600. The resulting flow curves are used to analyze the material hardening with respect to the anisotropy. The results show differing hardening mechanisms for the investigated materials which will lead to different needs in the material modelling.
