||Numerical Modeling of Photoionization in Plasma by Using Approaches Methods

This paper presents new methods on the propagation of the Plasma based on photoionization, the latter plays a very important role in positive streamer, the study of photoionization was carried out with the realization of a series of simulations by using the direct solution of the approximate radiative transfer equation for an emission source term. In this work we have developed three differential approaches models: the three exponential Helmholtz model, the SP3 model and the three-group Eddington model. The validity of these developed models is verified by comparing our calculations with the results from the integral model of Zheleznyak which serves as a reference. At the end of the validity tests, we opted for the three-group Eddington model using the Pomraning boundary conditions, this model gave us more precision and reduce the cost in computing time of the numerical code used.
