||Investigation of the Deformation Behaviour in Relation to the Stress State by Means of Cross Profile Deep Drawing Tests

Aluminium alloys of the 7000 series exhibit a pronounced springback behaviour due to their low elastic modulus and high yield strength. Furthermore, they show a tensile-compression asymmetric material behaviour. As both tensile and compression stresses occur across the sheet thickness during a deep drawing process, the modelling of the anisotropic material behaviour improve the prediction quality of the springback. However, the identification of the material model parameters in the tensile and compression stress state requires a high experimental effort. Therefore, in this contribution the plastic strains of cross profile deep drawing tests are investigated with a forming analysis system. Following this, the cause-effect relationships of stress states as a function of the tool geometry are determined using a simulation model. In this way, the influence of the consideration of experimental parameters from compression tests in material modelling on the mapping accuracy are examined.
