Abstract Scope |
A thermo-fluid-solid-phase field coupled method of the autoclave age forming process (AAF for short) was proposed based on the MpCCI software. On the one side, a thermo-mechanical coupling FE model was established using MARC software. The creep aging behavior was described by submitting a subroutine of unified constitutive model of material. On another side, a fluid-solid coupling CFD model was established to analyze the flow and heat transfer of AAF using FLUENT software. The MpCCI software was used to associate the FE model and the CFD model. The multi-field coupled method was evaluated by AAF of a hyperbolic thin-walled component of 2524 aluminum alloy. The result shows that the proposed model can not only reflect the temperature distribution in component during the AAF, but also predict the shape and properties of the formed component, which shows higher accuracy of prediction ability compared with the traditional age forming analysis model. |
