||Particle Size Matching Mechanism of Blending Ore and Solid Fuel in Sintering Process

As the particle size of imported iron ore powders have gradually been becoming thick, which is adverse to sintering mineralization and reaction. At present, Jingtang sintering basically using all imported rich mineral powder is not easy to control their size. It may be an important means to solve this problem to seek the particle size matching between fuel and blending ore. The suitable matching mode of fuel particle size (d) and blending ore particle size (D) is as follows: d/ D=0.47~0.54. When the particle size of blending ore is changed, the fuel particle size should be controlled according to d/ D by means of fuel crushing process to ensure the appropriate value. Since applied, the main quality indexes of sintering have shown good changes. Among them, the return fine rate of sinter was decreased from 25.43% to 24.64%, and the sintering solid fuel consumption was decreased from 44.8kgce/t to 43.9kgce/t.
