Abstract Scope |
The titanium/stainless steel composite plate combines the advantages of both materials and is gradually becoming a substitute for a single titanium material, which is widely used in various fields. Preliminary experimental results show that the pulse current-assisted titanium/stainless steel rolling method proposed in this research significantly improves the bonding strength of the two materials: at 850 ° C, 23% reduction rate, the bonding strength after application of pulse current reaches 278.42 MPa, which is about 40MPa higher than ordinary rolling; the 33% reduction rate reached 324.06 MPa, which is about 20MPa higher than ordinary rolling, and the shear section of the sample showed a more pronounced ductile fracture characteristic after the application of the pulse current. It is shown that the application of pulse current significantly improves the performance of the composite panel. |
