Presentation Title Refractories for the Food Industry

Abstract Scope Either hidden from sight in the kitchen or in plain view producing rapidly cooked pizza, precast shaped refractories are taking an increasing role in quickly cooking food items in restaurants across the country. These applications require uniquely cast shapes as well as special material properties. Details of these refractories will be discussed.
