Abstract Scope |
In this contribution, the large strain flow curve of DC04 steel sheet is identified using 5 independent material tests, namely, the post-necking tensile experiment, the stack compression test, the plane strain compression test, the strain-rate controlled hydraulic bulge test and the in-plane torsion test. In essence, this paper describes in detail the latter material tests and discusses potential discrepancies found in the flow curves. Lack of discordance between the stack compression test and the hydraulic bulge test is currently attributed to the influence of the hydrostatic pressure on the flow stress. Finally, the material tests are assessed in terms of accuracy and experimental effort. |
