Abstract Scope |
Accurate prediction wrinkle is the basic basis for product and mold design for sheet metal forming. In view of the fact that there is no clear mechanism for determining wrinkling similar to the FLD for determining fracture, this work uses plate diagonal tensile test as the verification test to establish the numerical simulation model for the analysis of plastic wrinkling of the thin plate. The model inducing the calculation of the true instability morphology of the test piece. The morphology and characteristics of the critical wrinkle main strain diagram (WLD) based on this model. The morphology and position of WLD in the main strain space are discussed. Then effect law of the material crease resistance affected by the variation of various process parameters is obtained. The WLD established in this paper was verified by strain measurement system VIC-3D, The plastic wrinkling law was further discussed with the test data. |
