||Adsorption of methylene blue by CuFe2O4 prepared from precipitation flotation sludge

The adsorption materials can be prepared from the heavy metal ions flotation product in the metal-containing wastewater. When the precursor was pyrolyzed in air at 650 ℃, 800 ℃, 950 ℃, and 1100 ℃ for 4.0 h as a self-template, porous copper ferrite CuFe2O4 was prepared and tested as an adsorption material for the adsorption performance of the material. According to the measurement results, the specific surface area of copper ferrite is 16 m2/g. The adsorption process of this material for the organic dye methylene blue (MB) conforms to the Langmuir isotherm adsorption model. It is a single-layer molecular physical adsorption process with good adsorption performance. The slag is effectively enriched and recovered by precipitation flotation, and the recovered product is pyrolyzed to form an adsorbent material, thereby achieving the effective utilization of heavy metal resources.
