Abstract Scope |
This study uses the curve movement mode of servo punch press to increase the forming limit of square cup deep drawing process. First of all, mechanical properties test of aluminum alloy (including stress-strain curve, anisotropy and forming limit) are performed by universal material testing machine. A friction tests were used to determine the friction factors between the dies and blank and different lubricants. The above information is necessary for square cup deep drawing analysis of computer aided engineering. Secondly, the influence of the traditional crank motion curve and the servo pulse motion curve with different frequency of deep drawing was discussed. The servo pulse movement curve with better forming limit was obtained. CAE software is applied to square cup deep drawing analysis and compared with the experimental data. The effect of servo pulse movement curve on forming limit can be improved during square cup deep drawing process. |
