Abstract Scope |
With the increasing miniaturization of precision components, higher requirements are put forward for stainless steel foil. In view of the residual stress and edge defects faced by the current process of rolling stainless steel foil strip, the rolling method of pulsed electric current auxiliary stainless steel foil is proposed. The preliminary test results show that the elongation of the pulse electric current-assisted rolling stainless steel foil strip (0.05mm) is increased by 40%, the hardness is reduced by 30%, the number of dimples in tensile fracture is increased, and the residual stress in rolling state is reduced by 20%. It can be seen that the application of pulse electric current can significantly improve the plastic deformation ability of the metal. |
