Abstract Scope |
Based on the self-built temperature controlled forming platform, warm single point incremental forming of AZ31 alloy was carried out at 200℃, 250℃ and 300℃. The strain distribution of the formed part was obtained with the digital image correlation system. The fracture forming limit of AZ31 alloy under different temperatures was constructed by forming the groove, truncated cone and pyramid parts. The formability was improved about 21% from 200℃ to 250℃, and 80% from 250℃ to 300℃. The microstructure analysis proved that the formability enhancement was mainly due to the dynamic recrystallization at high temperature. The reliability of the constructed fracture forming limit was verified by forming the fixed angle truncated cone part, clover and four-leaf clover parts. |
