Abstract Scope |
Biaxial tension tests were conducted on 1000 and 5000 series aluminum alloy sheets at the temperature between 20 to 300 degree Celsius. The biaxial tension test apparatus was developed so as to control the strain rate and stress ratio (stress ratio in rolling and its transverse directions), simultaneously. Error of temperature was within 1 degree Celsius during the test, which enabled an accurate stress-strain response measurement.
Equi-plastic work loci and directions of plastic strain increment of those materials were obtained from the test. In addition, strain rate dependency on anisotropic response was observed. Finally, thus obtained anisotropic characteristics were compared with the calculation results using several types of anisotropic yield functions combined with the rate dependent workhardening model. |
