| Abstract Scope |
In this study, the additive friction stir deposition technique is employed to generate multilayer deposits of carbon steel 1018 on a heated substrate, utilizing various printing parameters. Extensive efforts were made to identify optimal parameters and enhance the quality of the printed components. Post-printing, a microstructural evaluation was conducted to assess the bonding quality between layers along the z-axis direction. |
