Abstract Scope |
After the ultra-low emission retrofit, denitrification and desulfurization equipment were added to the flue gas system of blast furnace hot blast stoves, altering the original operational mode. This paper investigates the corrosion problems observed in heat exchangers of blast furnace hot blast stoves following the ultra-low emission retrofit. The study includes phase analysis of corrosion products and examines the formation mechanism and key influencing factors of SO₂ in conjunction with the process flow. Additionally, the feasibility of corrosion mitigation measures—such as upgrading heat exchanger materials, structural modifications, and process design optimization—is discussed. |
