Abstract Scope Based on the existing problems of pressurized reactors in the metallurgical and chemical industries, combined with the principle of energy recovery of hydraulic turbines, a self-stirring tubular reactor driven by pressure energy is proposed, which combines the advantages of autoclaves and conventional tubular digestion equipment. The PIV technique is used to study the agitated flow field in the self-stirring reactor. When the nozzle outlet pressure is 0.5MPa, the fluid velocity is 0.98mPa•s and 2.03mPa•s, the maximum velocity of the flow field is about 0.26 m.s^(-1), and The maximum speed of the fluid viscosity is 3.07mPa•s is about 0.2 m.s^(-1); when the influencing factors are the same, when the fluids with different viscosities are used as the flowing medium, the slanting driving wheel under the same pressure condition, the viscosity is larger, and the flow field speed is smaller.
