Abstract Scope To enable data-driven diagnostics, optimization, and operational decision-making, Hatch is developing and deploying modern digital tools and techniques across a variety of alumina refining applications. This involves applying modern sensor and cloud technologies judiciously and in conjunction with engineering and process expertise to tackle complex challenges in a rapid and cost effective manner. We present specific case studies where Hatch is applying IoT hardware and software techniques to support refinery commissioning, enable equipment failure diagnostics, and to optimize equipment cleaning and maintenance activities.
Proceedings Inclusion? Planned: Light Metals
