Abstract Scope |
Recently, in the automobile industry, the technology most attention technology is the development of eco-friendly vehicles by improving fuel efficiency and reducing exhaust gas. However, when applying aluminum spot welding, electrode deterioration and abrasion caused by the high thermal/electrical conductivity of the aluminum material and the oxide film (Al2O3) on the surface causes cracks and defects in the welded part of the aluminum plate, which is the main cause of lowering the welding quality. Therefore, it is important to derive optimal conditions and methods for improving welding quality according to the welding process control variables (pressure/welding current/welding time) among various control variables for the process optimization method and quality improvement method of aluminum spot welding to be applied to automobile parts is judged.
In this study, process optimization and quality improvement methods of aluminum alloy resistance welding were considered. |
