||Research on the Rolling Load Distribution Model Technology of the Multi-Mode Continuous Casting & Rolling Process Control

The Multi-Mode Continuous Casting & Rolling plant (MCCR) is a new hot strip short process production plant developed on the basis of the conventional hot strip rolling, CSP, ESP and other plants, which can realize the production of endless rolling mode, semi endless rolling mode and coil to coil rolling mode. The rolling load distribution is the core model of the rolling control process. In this paper MCCR rolling load distribution strategy was taken as the main research content. MCCR rolling load distribution control model contains Roll Force Ratio Distribution Method (FRDM) and Flying Gauge Change (FGC) strategies. FRDM strategy can satisfy the demands of the coil to coil rolling mode, and FGC load distribution strategy can achieve gauge rapidly change schedule of endless rolling. This kind of rolling load distributuion control technology plays an important role in the stable rolling and control for MCCR process control.
