Abstract Scope |
The surface of solar panels is exposed to different types of contaminants, which, depending on their quantity, accumulate interfering optically with the passage of light and the consequent production of electrical energy. The cleaning methods currently used are manual with using water resources, robotic with brushes, air jets and/or water immersion of panels. Altering physicochemical characteristics of the panel glass surface is a viable alternative to obtain different degrees of wettability and non-adherence of dirt. Therefore, in this work, continuous and nanostructured functional AlN films were deposited using the plasma magnetron sputtering technique on glass slides. The thin films were characterized by their wettability with the sessile drop method; transmittance by the UV-Vis method; morphology with the field emission gun (FEG) technique and phase composition by Raman. |
