Presentation Title Simulation of Solidification Structure of 3 % Oriented Silicon Steel by Twin Roll Strip Casting

Abstract Scope Taking 3 % oriented silicon steel as the research object, the CAFE module in ProCAST was used to establish the twin-roll strip casting-rolling model to simulate the solidification process and the formation of solidification structure in the twin-roll strip casting-rolling process. By comparing the solidification structure in the actual production and numerical simulation results, it has high similarity, which verifies the correctness of the model. By changing the parameters of the influencing factors in the process of casting and rolling, the solidification process and the proportion of medium axial crystal and columnar crystal in the solidification structure were compared. The data of the solidification structure corresponding to the parameter values of the influencing factors were analyzed by SPSS, and the influence curve of the model parameter data was obtained, which provides data support for the optimization of the actual casting and rolling process parameters.
