In this paper, we address tracer and collective correlation effects in diffusion in high entropy alloys (mainly CoCrFeMnNi). It is well-known  that the Manning or vacancy-wind factor is the characteristic quantity to reflect these effects. Both, quasi-binary and pseudo-binary approaches for experimental investigation of interdiffusion in multicomponent alloys are considered. It is shown that for the application of the quasi-binary approach the reference value of the Manning factor remains the same as in the binary alloys. However, in the application of the pseudo-binary approach, this value changes to the inverse of the sum N1+N2, where N1 and N2 are the compositions of the atomic components that have different values at the opposite ends of the diffusion couple.
