||Research on the Reduction Distribution Strategy of the Multi-Mode Continuous Casting & Rolling Process Control

The Multi-Mode Continuous Casting & Rolling Plant (MCCR) of Shougang is the first plant with coil to coil rolling mode, semi endless rolling mode and endless rolling mode. How to realize reduction distribution under three control modes is the core of finishing process control and the key to ensure the whole production line to produce high quality and high yield " replacing cold rolling with hot rolling " products. In this paper, the reduction control process of MCCR plant is systematically elaborated, and the reduction distribution strategy under coil to coil and endless rolling mode is emphatically analyzed. In coil to coil rolling mode, the reduction ratio is used by RM, and the FM reduction is controlled by Roll Force Ratio Distribution Method (FRDM). Endless rolling uses Flying Gauge Change (FGC) thickness calculation strategy. The reduction distribution strategy is very important to the stability control of the model.
