Abstract submissions on novel developments and research related to materials joining, including brazing/soldering, surfacing, and additive manufacturing, are welcome. Although full manuscripts are not required for abstract submission, authors are encouraged to submit suitable manuscripts to the Welding Journal at editorialmanager.com/wj/default.aspx for possible publication.

Abstracts should be submitted in 300 words.

Authors with accepted abstracts will be required to give oral presentations at FABTECH 2024 within the AWS Professional Program. They will also receive complimentary registration for the 2024 Professional Program and free access to FABTECH 2024, North America's largest metal forming, fabrication, welding and finishing event.

Presenters are also welcome to attend the following events during FABTECH 2024:
-Opening Ceremony: Join us as the AWS President, Michael Krupnicki, and Officers are introduced, and the new AWS Fellows and Counselors are recognized.
-The Comfort Adams Lecture: TBD
-Honorary Symposium for Professor J.N. DuPont, Lehigh University
-Plenary Presentation: Professor J.N. DuPont, Lehigh University
-Plenary Presentation: Professor B.T. Alexandrov, The Ohio State University
-Poster Competition: Visit: weld.ng/postercompetition
