ProgramMaster is a powerful, yet easy to use, tool for building conference programming and for publication. Some of the features are:
- Greater
system communication via a suite of action-
and date-triggered e-mail messages to notify all system participants
of relevant activities (e.g., every abstract submission generates an
e-mail notification to the symposium organizer; all authors and co-authors
are immediately notified when an abstract is accepted for publication;
authors of proceedings manuscripts are reminded of an upcoming deadline).
- Improved
system navigation with virtually every activity that a user can perform
within ProgramMaster is no more that three clicks away from the Main Menu. Tutorials and help information is quickly available.
- The ability to propose and, if approved, manage symposia online. Using the organizer/editor tools link, you can easily review abstracts as the authors submit them, accept or reject abstracts, assemble sessions, contact authors, and export a spreadsheet containing the information about your symposium.
- The ability to propose a proceedings online. If approved, you can view the manuscripts as the authors upload them, accept or reject manuscripts, and contact authors.
- The ability of authors to submit abstracts and upload manuscripts online. Via the presenter/author tools link, they can manage all their active submissions from one view.
