| Abstract Scope |
Hycast has been recognized in the industry for their focus on optimizing aluminum production through state-of-the-art advancements in casthouse technology. As the first company to supply hands-free casting solutions, Hycast has continued to focus its efforts on R&D towards improvements in product quality, efficiency, sustainability and operator safety. This presentation highlights some of the recent industry solutions the company has released to the market that reflect upon these core principles. Solutions discussed cover the entire scope of the casthouse operations from the exit of the furnace to the production of high quality extrusion billet and rolling slab, incorporating metal transfer, metal refining and filtration, direct chill casting, process automation, inline defect analysis and metal sampling. |
