About this Symposium

Meeting TMS Specialty Congress 2026
Symposium 4th World Congress on High Entropy Alloys (HEA 2026)
Organizer(s) Amy J. Clarke, Los Alamos National Laboratory
Elizabeth J. Opila, University of Virginia
Scope HEA 2026 will convene stakeholders from across areas of modeling and simulation, experimental characterization, and alloy design, as well as from across academia, government, and industry, to address many fundamental issues in HEAs, as well as to examine their properties and potential engineering applications.

The 4th World Congress on High Entropy Alloys (HEA 2026) is a part of TMS Specialty Congress 2026 and featured along with three other co-located events:

-The 4th World Congress on Artificial Intelligence in Materials and Manufacturing (AIM 2026)
-The inaugural 1st World Congress on Reproducibility, Qualification, and Standards Development of Additive Manufacturing and Beyond (RQSD 2026)
-CSM-TMS Energy Materials 2026

Explore your technical interest in a focused, small event environment, while also having access to cross-disciplinary learning and collaboration opportunities with aligned materials communities.
Submit an Abstract Today by the extended deadline of January 5, 2026.

Abstracts are requested on topics related to materials science and engineering and manufacturing processes, including:

Alloy Design
Characterization Techniques for HEAs
Environmental & Irradiation Resistance (corrosion and oxidation)
Functional HEAs
Fundamental Theory & Computationally Aided Design
HE Ceramics
High-throughput, Autonomous, and Machine Learning Assisted HEA R&D
Mechanical Properties and Deformation Mechanisms of HEAs
