| Scope |
This symposium will cover the latest developments in high integriey castings for structural applications, including (but not limited to) high-pressure and low-pressure die casting, gravity casting (sand and permemnet mold), and semi-solid casting processes. The following topic areas are especially encouraged:
• Alloy design for high integrity casting applications
• Casting design for lightweigting and castability
• Mold materials and additive manufacturing technologies for casting development
• Computational modeling and digital twins for casting applications
• Casting defects formation and prediction
• Sustainability and circular manufacturing in shape casting
