Scope Drying, Roasting, Calcining and Agglomeration are critical steps in the processing of ores and concentrates. These processes are characterised by operating below the solidus temperature of the material, with chemical reactions and phase changes occurring. The high temperatures in the equipment is critical for these reactions and processes. This symposium will cover drying, roasting, calcining and agglomeration of ores, concentrates and feedstocks, both from a theoretical and practical perspective.
