| Abstract Scope |
Layered oxychalcogenides have been expected to exhibit excellent photoelectric conversion properties because they have a natural quantum crystal structure with alternating layers of oxide and chalcogenide layers. We recently performed exhaustive material search using first-principles calculations and discovered some new oxychalcogenide semiconductors as candidate for high performance photoelectric conversion devices. In this talk, we report the epitaxial growth of the layered oxychalcogenide semiconductor thin films and discuss their photoelectric conversion properties. |
