Abstract Scope |
The working surfaces of parts operated in aggressive conditions of acid solutions, under impact-dynamic action on pressing equipment were strengthened. The coatings were applied using FA charges. Gaseous products interact with the elements of the powder system (Al, Si, B, Cr) and transfer them into the gas phase . Chrome-plated alloyed coatings of Al, Si, B, Ti were obtained. When alloying with boron, the following phases are formed on steels: CrB, Fe3Al, (Cr, Fe)23C6, Cr7C3, FeB, Fe2Al5, Fe3Al . Analysis of polarization curves shows that steels with chromium coatings alloyed with aluminum-titanium and aluminum-silicon are passivated in acidic solutions and the free corrosion potential shifts sharply to the positive region. The free corrosion potential was determined from polarization curves. When tested in a hydrochloric acid solution, the best resistance is shown by coatings alloyed with silicon and titanium, having a mass loss of 0.65-0.72 and 0.25-0.29 g/m2 h. |
