Abstract
Rubber processing, are significant sources of pollution, with their wastewater negatively impacting aquatic ecosystems and public health. This study demonstrates the production and characterization of activated carbon from cattle teeth through carbonization. The carbonized cattle teeth exhibited promising features such as high surface area, high carbon content, and porosity. The study focused on COD reduction as an index for pollution levels, the activated produced from the cattle teeth was able to reduce a maximum of 91.66 %, COD from the RPE.
