| Abstract Scope |
Straightening is the critical processes determining the quality of continuous casting billets in steel production. The mechanical properties of steel are crucial for designing straightening parameters. This article used Gleeble-3800 to study the mechanical properties of 4Cr13 continuous casting billets at strain rates of 0.001s-1 and 0.01s-1 within 600-950 ℃. Fitting equations conditions were derived based on the stress-strain relationships. The results show that at the strain rate of 0.001s-1, as the temperature decreases from 950 ℃ to 600 ℃, the compressive strength increases from 146.23 MPa to 532.03 MPa, the yield strength increases from 120 MPa to 375.37 MPa. At the strain rate of 0.01s-1, as the temperature decreases from 950 ℃ to 600 ℃, the compressive strength increases from 169.12 MPa to 630.71 MPa, the yield strength increases from 129.25 MPa to 436.19 MPa. The fitted equations based on the experimental results all demonstrated correlation coefficients exceeding 0.92. |
