| Abstract Scope |
The VCCM is newly developed equipment designed as an alternative to the conventional crucible cleaning process, particularly in facilities with space limitations where larger, more robust machinery cannot be installed. STORVIK’s VCCM provides a cost-effective, fully enclosed solution that minimizes dust exposure for operating personnel. The system is fully electric, eliminating the need for hydraulic components and requiring only a minimal installation footprint. It can be tailored to accommodate any crucible size and is engineered to clean dross gently, without impacting the refractory lining—ultimately helping to extend the crucible lining's lifespan. |
