Abstract Scope |
By conducting hot metal Temperature Field simulations on different deadman status in large blast furnaces, including various porosities, and shapes of the deadman, the simulation results indicate that a decrease in the porosity of the deadman leads to intensified hot metal circulation in the hearth and an increase in the temperature of the hearth side wall. Therefore, it is necessary to strictly control the content of alkali metals entering the furnace to reduce their destructive effect on coke, decrease the coke powder content of the deadman in the hearth, and increase the porosity of the deadman. |
